Our Beliefs

  • God

There is one God who exists in three distinct beings (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Jesus, the Son, left heaven and came down to earth and became fully God and fully man. God is so perfect and holy that without Jesus dying on the cross for us, we would have no way into heaven. We all have sinned, and because of that sin we deserve death and hell. God loves us so much He made a way to escape hell by giving us Jesus, and we now have a choice.

  • Humanity

God made mankind in His likeness to have fellowship with Him. Adam and Eve chose to sin, therefore all of their offspring (which is the whole world) are sinful. This broke our relationship with God. We are totally incapable of coming back into a right relationship with God by our own efforts.

  • Salvation

Jesus came to earth and lived for 33 years. He lived perfectly, without sin. When Jesus died on the cross, it was because He was without sin that God was able to accept h\is sacrifice and payment for sin in full. That is the only way our sins can be pardoned. We can only have salvation when we put our faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Christ as the payment for our sins.

  • The Christian Life

Christians should live for Christ and not for ourselves. God has given us His all, so by choosing to follow Him, we must be willing to give Him our all as well. It’s about a relationship with God who loves us unconditionally. We have that relationship by reading His Word (the Bible), by worshiping Him in church, through prayer with Him, and by living a life of obedience to Him. After walking with Christ, we will begin to look, love, and live like Him.

  • The Church

The church is the members of the body of Christ with Jesus as the Head. The members are those who have trusted by faith that Jesus is the Son of God and that He came here to save us from hell. God commands us to follow our faith with an outward testimony of baptism by immersion (this is the act of the whole body going underwater to identify with Jesus by "burying our sin"). The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and by telling others about Jesus.

  • THe Scriptures

The Bible is God’s Word that was given to man to write. Men were moved by the Spirit to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, the Bible has no mistakes or contradictions.
